Greetings! You have stumbled on the writings of S. Noel Brady. Forgive her, she’s always leaving blogs around where people are walking.
Noel writes to point telescopes at the human condition, often blending the comedic with the somber plus a dash of dark on occasion. Her work can be found in Gingerbread House Literary Magazine, Psychopomp Magazine, Kaaterskill Basin Literary Journal, The Bohemyth, Jersey Devil Press, Vandercave Quarterly, and more. She is currently querying her second novel, The World Keeper: a fantasy story set literally inside the mind of the unwell but imaginative protagonist.
For a living, Noel romps around libraries flinging book recommendations like confetti. In her spare time she enjoys visual art, learning sign language, taking violin lessons, outdoor adventure, baking desserts, to-do lists, reading… and more reading… and reading some more… and for goodness’ sake Noel we’re doing a bio here, put the book down. Anyway, she lives in California with her big fluffy doggo. Okay Noel, you can go back to reading now.

To Do Lists are fun unless they don’t get done. Then some people find them oppressive. My ex used to make her to do list AFTER she had completed the tasks and then crossed them off one by one.
That’s partly why she’s my ex.

But doing things on the To Do list *IS* the fun! 🙂

I confess my lists are often subject to the Biblical adage: One who puts on his armor should not boast like one who takes it off.
I have made peace with TDL that are not completed at the end of the day. I get more accomplished some days than I expect, and less others. Each day has enough.
